Day 1: Las Vegas to Bryce Canyon National Park

Depart Las Vegas on a scenic guided sightseeing tour with our trusted touring partner, routed through Zion National Park en route to Bryce Canyon. Along the way, take in the jaw-dropping scenery of the Virgin River winding through Zion Canyon's towering sandstone walls before passing through the historic Mount Carmel Tunnel, carved directly through the rock in the 1920s. The drive continues east into higher elevation, the landscape shifting from Zion's red rock cliffs to the pink and orange hoodoos that define Bryce Canyon's amphitheater. Lunch and dinner are included along the route. Arrive in the Bryce Canyon area by evening and settle in for an overnight stay, with a full day of exploring the park still ahead.

Day 2: Bryce Canyon National Park to Moab

Spend the morning on a guided sightseeing tour of Bryce Canyon National Park, taking in sweeping views of its famous hoodoo formations from iconic overlooks before continuing east along Scenic Highway 12, widely regarded as one of America's most spectacular drives. The route winds through Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument's dramatic slot canyons and layered rock formations before a guided tour of Capitol Reef National Park, known for its towering cliffs, historic orchards, and the geologic wrinkle in the earth's crust known as the Waterpocket Fold. Breakfast and lunch are included along the way. The day concludes with arrival in Moab, where you'll settle in for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Moab

Depart in the morning on a guided sightseeing tour with our trusted touring partner, beginning a full day of adventure through two more of the Mighty 5: Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. In Arches, marvel at more than 2,000 natural stone arches, towering fins, and balanced rocks shaped by millions of years of erosion. In Canyonlands, take in sweeping desert vistas from the Grand View Point Overlook and the Green River Overlook, where the Green and Colorado Rivers have carved a maze of canyons far below. Enjoy lunch at a unique location along the way before returning to Moab in the evening for a second overnight stay in this desert adventure town.

Day 4: Moab to Glenwood Springs

Depart Moab in the early afternoon aboard Canyon Spirit, where a delicious, locally inspired light lunch and dinner are served as the train pulls away from the red rock desert that has defined the trip so far. The route crosses the Utah-Colorado border, mountain peaks rising in the distance as the scenery shifts from sandstone canyons to forested foothills and river valleys — a striking contrast to the past three days spent among Utah's national parks. By evening, the train arrives in the resort town of Glenwood Springs, tucked into a river valley and long known for its natural hot springs, where you'll spend the night before continuing on toward Denver.

Day 5: Glenwood Springs to Denver

Depart Glenwood Springs aboard Canyon Spirit, savoring breakfast and lunch as the train begins its climb toward the Continental Divide. Sweeping views of rugged canyons and the Colorado River accompany the ascent, the landscape growing more dramatic with every mile through some of Colorado's most photographed high country, including the narrow gorges of Glenwood Canyon. Onboard service continues at a relaxed pace, leaving plenty of time to take in the scenery before the train descends into the Denver metro area. Arrive in the vibrant city of Denver by late afternoon or early evening and settle in for an overnight stay in the Mile High City, with a full day of leisure still ahead.

Day 6: Denver

The final day is left open for leisure in the dynamic city of Denver, Colorado, where you can uncover the Mile High City's vibrant charm at your own pace after days spent among some of the West's most dramatic natural landscapes. Explore the lively LoDo district's converted warehouses and rooftop patios, browse the boutiques and galleries along Larimer Square, or visit the Denver Art Museum before a final meal at one of the city's celebrated restaurants.
